![]() I'm working on the transition from NM to UNM and the gear is what's needed. Its the best value and books will take an age. In all seriousness though, energy is the only thing I plan on spending on. Shhhh don't come here with logic, the douchebags are listening and will inflate the price ) Let me know if I did anything wrong, welcome the feedback. But based on my analysis so far, the energy is a good move so far. I’ve been an active player since August and have my share of gripes with the company. I am not a Plarium apologist, don’t insult me with that. Of course, 80% win rate is tough for ftp, but doable if you are diligent with refreshes. As a FTP, you can afford two 15 gem arena refills for every 4 days. Tag arena may end up being a great source of energy for FTP. Translating that to gem mine value and time, getting 92 gems worth of energy in 4 days outpaces the gem mine by a whole 2 days. That’s about 4 days of about 83% win rate in bronze 3. That is a factor to consider, but the value is not there in my opinion.ġ000 gold bars is roughly 100 round wins (33 clean sweeps plus one victory). The positive of buying ancient shards over energy from the bazaar is that you can save shards for a 2x event, but you must immediately use energy. Strictly based off value of each resource based on gems, most players should almost exclusively buy energy from the bazaar. ![]() Comparing these ratios, energy is about 40% more efficient than buying an ancient shard. That’s roughly a 15:1 ratio for gold bars to gem value. An ancient shard is roughly worth 80 gems (based on the 900 gem pack in the store) and costs 1200 gold bars. That’s roughly a 11:1 ratio for gold bars to gem value. Here is my breakdown.ģ00 energy is worth roughly 92 gems and costs 1000 gold bars. Surprisingly, it’s very good.Ģ items that stuck out to me as good value in the bazaar: ancient shard and 300 energy. I hate tag arena as much as the next person, but wanted to share some math on why it may not be a bad way for an end game FTP player to farm energy. ![]()
